At speakeasy Vienna, vibrant German learning is at the heart of everything we do. We focus on practical, communicative lessons that truly help you progress – in everyday life, at work, and in your studies. Instead of dry theory, you’ll experience a dynamic learning concept with plenty of active speaking practice.

Our school reflects this philosophy as well: our thoughtfully designed classrooms feel more like a cozy living room than a sterile learning institute. We firmly believe that languages are best learned in a relaxed and motivating atmosphere.

With us, you stay maximally flexible: whether you choose online courses or in-person classes, we offer lessons from 9:00 a.m. to 8:45 p.m., making it easy to fit your German course around your job or studies. Our small groups, with a maximum of 14 participants, allow for intensive learning and personalized support. For particularly individual goals, we also offer one-on-one lessons.

Our experienced teachers are highly trained language experts. Many have learned multiple foreign languages themselves and know exactly what matters when learning German as an adult. Even complex grammar structures are taught clearly and understandably.

As an official examination center, speakeasy Vienna gives you the opportunity to take telc and ÖSD exams at all levels and obtain an internationally recognized language certificate.

We are centrally located in Vienna with excellent transport connections – easily accessible from the city and surrounding areas. And because language thrives on interaction, we regularly invite you to our monthly meet-up: the perfect opportunity to meet new people, explore Vienna together, and improve your German naturally.
